About & Contact

My hometown of Split. Built around a Roman palace, surrounded by beautiful islands.

My first console and first introduction to games, starting with my favourite platformer, Yoshi's Island.

I grew up playing handball, and I enjoy playing sports of all kinds.

My first PC looked something like this, and I played all games I could run on it, no matter the genre.

After reading LotR, I got my hands on the Silmarillion and was mesmerized and it became my favourite book.

Last ship I worked on, Levant. She's a tanker ship, and I had a great deal of fun sailing around the world.

Lived in Glasgow for a little bit above half a year, marvelling at the architecture.

Lived in Florianopolis, Brazil for a while and enjoying the astounding beaches and nature.

Breda University of Applied Sciences. Met a few amazing people, and had loads of fun learning to become a game designer.

Joined a group of students working on organizing and facilitating extra-curricular activities, I was managing all clubs, from administration to organizing events.

Became a Game Master (and I can't shake it off! but I like it) for D&D, explored a few other systems and became a (TT)RPG Club organizer.

Interned as a level designer at TaleWorlds Entertainment, where I met a great deal of amazing developers and become a decent one myself!

This, dear reader, is where you go! Hopefully I get to work with awesome developers and become a better one myself.
About Me
Hello, I am Renato and welcome to my page!
I am 27 years old and I come from Croatia, a small country just east of Italy. The pictures on the left should represent a short history of mine, beginning with my hometown of Split, and leading to how I fell in love with video games through my first console, the SNES.
Following Yoshi's Island, my dad bought a computer, leading me to play everything that little machine could spin up (mostly RPGs). As I grew up in a coastal city, I developed a love for the deep blue sea and pursued a career in maritime engineering, working for a little over a year on international ships as an engine cadet. A sharp turn of events led me to change my life completely, and I decided to pursue my love for video games and decided to learn how to design them at Breda University of Applied Sciences where I study game design & production and specialize in level design.
In my spare time, I run the (TT)RPG Club, and I am part of the Community Team that focuses on improving extra-curricular activities and bringing the university community together, organizing events and helping clubs and organizations flourish and be discovered. I read books too.

Having found an internship at TaleWorlds Entertainment, I have immensely grown as a level designer, learning from amazing developers and working on one of my favourite games.

I am currently working as a Level Designer at Dorado Games, working on a long-term strategy game Conflict of Nations: WW3.

Always on the lookout for ways to improve as a person, developer, and designer, if you have any opportunities that you think might suit me, please, contact me through e-mail or down below!
